Olga Leyshyna was ranked number 5 in the Ukraine Tennis 16 and under division. After graduating high school at age 16 she continued her tennis career by playing Division 1 Tennis for 2 years at Northwestern State University of Louisiana, followed by 2 more years at Arkansas Tech University where she graduated in 2015 Cum Laude with a Double Major in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a final 3.65 GPA.
Her tennis achievements include Great American Conference (GAC) Newcomer of the Year, second-team all-Great American Conference selection, 6-0 record in the GAC, No. 3 single in the season with a 13-5 record and a 19-8 record overall. Olga also played doubles achieving No. 2 with an 18-4 record. With doubles partner Bohdana Sardak, she posted a 23-7 record and was undefeated with 6-0 in the GAC.
Other experience includes coaching Tennis at Camp Fernwood in Portland, Maine and Prestige Tennis Club in the Ukraine. Olga was also an All-Academic selection.
Olga was born in Odessa City, Ukraine and in her spare time she enjoys jogging, working out and playing volleyball. Her favorite personal quote is, “nothing is impossible.”
